F.A.Q

  • How are the pieces measured?

All the measurements you see under each article (''Measurements:'') are done with the piece stretched and laying flat.

  • How to take my measurements to know if an item will fit me?

    1. Take a any thread or shoelace for example, wrap it around your neck or wrist at the desired position.
    2. Mark the point where the thread meets with your finger.
    3. Unwrap and lay the thread flat.
    4. With a ruler or measuring tape, measure the length from one end to the other.

  • What if the measurements of a necklace or bracelet seem too short for me?

Do not hesitate to contact us with your desired length in cm and we will be glad to accomodate with an extension whenever possible.

  • Can I shower with my stainless steel or aluminium jewelry?

Yes. But for longevity, we ideally recommend to remove it before showering if you can, this also helps to protect small hardware pieces like closing clasps or components which are more sensitive to the elements than the rest of the piece.

  • How to care for my chainmaille jewelry?

- Stainless steel & aluminium: These are non-staining materials considered hypo-allergenic. If you feel like giving them a shine, you can gently wash them in a 60/40 solution of lukewarm water and apple cider vinegar (gentle pH dishshoap could also work).

- Silver:

Some of our pieces, notably pendants are created using a magical material that turns to silver through the combination of recycled silver dust, a natural binder and fire. Certain chemicals can cause discoloration when in contact with this type of silver. To avoid this, we recommend to remove jewellery before showering or swimming and take care not to spray perfume or hairspray directly onto its surface. To keep your silver pendants clean and shiny, use a soft jewelry polishing cloth.
